TROZENHORSE: You say the Cayenne was new........do you remember what it drove like before you put the springs on? The stock springs are also quite bouncy.........I'm just wondering because I've read where other people say the Eibach's soften the ride.

alex,

Sounds good... I actually tried to go check out sharkwerks the other day, because its pretty close to my office. However, I guess he doesn't even have the sign up so I didn't bother to stop in.

Are either of the Eibachs or Techarts progressive rate springs?

Maybe I will have to take you up on your offer this 24th.

I just purchased a 2005 Cayenne S with 52k on it and love the look and power, but the ride seems "bouncy". When going down freeway and hitting a bump I almost come off the seat. It does not have the adjustable air ride. I understand it is a sporty ride and I've owned a 911 and 995, but I don't think my back can take it anymore!
Is it possible the shocks could be going bad after 50K? It looks too clean to have been off-road much.
Is there some sort of spring adjustment that can be made manually?

My 2004 CS with 49K mi has the same bouncy ride that you describe. Certainly not the tight feel of a 2006 X5 that I once owned.

The tires will be replaced Monday and with a 4 wheel alignment I hope the bounce is subdued somewhat.
