Sonn after I've purchased my CTT, I've read in some forum, that you have to drive Cayenne like a Porsche.
After approx. 20000 km's, I can only confirm - when I drive it in Automatic, it drives smooth, nice and easy.
But for more agressive drive, I always use tiptronic switch. And - when I use it, you can always notice big smile on my face.
Turbo lag ? Drive it, and CTT will kick your lag away !

I've got 10,000 miles on my TT.....Pirelli Scorpions showing very little wear so far. Seems to have stopped burning oil after 8,000 miles. I'm sooooo happy 14 months later that I still can't get over it. Worth every damn dollar.

Close to 5k miles now. Added 1 quart of oil so far and have no issues with lag. The auto mode can be a little lazy at times but in manual mode keep the revs up and WOW!! Hard to call it an SUV.

It's not turbo lag you need to be worried about with the Cayenne... it's tranny lag. Nothing like combining German software with a Japanese tranny

Default Go for the TT

I have never regretted my TT purchase. The TT is incredible and puts the Cayenne over the top. There is nothing that can touch the TT out there. It's expensive, but if you take money out of the equation, there is no question.

Turbo lag is a non-issue. This has been discussed ad-nauseum and just isn't true. Drive mine if you like!

Tire wear is directly related to your right foot. Romp on it all the time and you'll eat tires. Take it easy and you'll be fine. I'm working on 10K miles on mine and still have some wear left. I have the Conti's, there are several tire packages out there so your milage will vary.
