Talking 20" Techart wheels?

I have finally decided to order an 05' CT the way I want it (instead of trying to find current stock and compromising on options/colors etc.). I didn't put a lot of options on it since it is so loaded already. Here it is:

- Titanium on Black w/ dark burr wood
- Sports seats
- moonroof
- ski bag
- PCM off-road
- Light comfort pkg.

I am going to use the 18" for dedicated snows and find some 20" summer wheels. I was initally set on Sport Technos and I have seen lots of pictures of those in 20". Anyone have pictures of Techart in 20"? I have seen lots of pics in 22".

I know most will say go with 22" and I do agree that 22" looks a lot better. But I have my 996 for the summer and would like something with a thicker profile tire. So, I'd really like to see some pics of 20" Techart wheels...

thx

check out the Porsche 20" Cayenne Sport wheels w/rubber. 2,800. Special deal at Suncoast Porsche. I have mine sitting in the basement waiting for Spring. Congrats on your new wheels.

Default Techarts

This is a better looking wheel IMHO. I have the chrome sport technos and I love them. Here is pic of the techarts also.

Default How about now?

The titanium has the 20" and the blackout has the 22". These are courtesy of wheelechancement.com.

thx again Blade-MD! That's great! Techart 20" on Titanium CT... that is exactly what my CT will look like. Man, having the pics side-by-side makes the 20s look so small ... but I must not be tempted ... 20s it is then.

Just don't hit any pot holes.... Yea, I love the look of the 20's, but will keep my 19's for the summer and the 18's with some snow tires for winter...

I have 20" SportDesign wheels, and have ran over some nasty potholes and steel girders on the freeway here in L.A. without ANY damage to the wheels (or tires). My only slight problem is that the SportDesign is harder to clean than the Sport Techno or Techart wheel.

The 22" wheels on my brother-in-law's RR have taken major damage however. The 22's look great, but be prepared to fix and/or replace.

Stick with the 20" max that Porsche recommends and you should be fine

I think the 20'' Techart looks great, however it is a very stupid design. The face of the rim is convex and goes further out than the rubbber. You have to be very careful when parking next to a sidewalk, othervise you will ruin the wheel. Because of this, I would choose the OEM Porsche sport techno wheels, which looks almost as good, and will look a lot better after a couple of months use....
