Default Problems with power steering anyone?

On my CS I notice that turning the wheel back and forth like driving in a S pattern during very low speed there is some kickback like resistance. In fact 1 time there was no power steering at all. Anyone else have similar experiences?

I have experienced something similar right after they replaced my engine. They forgot to connect something and the variable power steering was not right. You probably want to have this checked.

My power steering seemed to just stop working a few times, took it to the dealer, they said the fluid was low, but then discovered the whole pump was coming apart, and ended up replacing the pump...

Well, there was a coolant leak. I brought the car to the dealer assuming some connection was loose. They reported some leaks from the engine and decided to simply replace it. This was after 12k miles or so and was done in just a few days. I don't mind the new engine, as long as it is under new warranty.

Apparently, Porsche design cars to make engine swaps easy. I had a similar experience with my 01 996TT a few years back.

I lost power steering while I was driving which I ended up crashing :-( Porsche paid for everything. It took over 2 months to get my car fixed, I believe they replaced the whole steering pump

I took mine in for lights fogging up and they pulled it into the stall and said "dude, did you know your power steering isn't working?" they replaced the pump.

This is terrible. I would have requested a brand new car.
