2. if you are upto date with all this, then BELOW info is applicable ONLY to Cay with latest good SOFTWARE properly INSTALLED and ADAPTED to car (DME, driving maps and etc...). Cay downshift behaviour in auto mode ALL depends on, "how HARD/SHARP you press gas pedal and for HOW LONG":
2.1 ...if press very little and NOT sharp, but ENOUGH for car downshift (otherwise Cay just keeps same gear and REVS...), then Cay goes ONE gear down ONLY;
2.2 ...MORE, then goes TWO gears down. Cay IS LISTENNING TO YOUR FOOT ACTION !...
...If deep gas press, but not sharp (you are taking your time to press slowly, but still deep...), Cay first TRIES to go just ONE gear down and checks if you are STILL pressing deeper. If that's the case, Cay CONTINUES quickly to downshift to next LOWER gear. And that completes TWO gear downshift...If deep gas press AND sharp, then Cay at once drops TWO gears...2.3 ...if to the above 2.2 you ADD VERY SHARP and VERY DEEP gas press EXPECIALLY COMPLEMENTED with PSM OFF or kickdown BUTTON pressed to the FLOOR, then Cay goes THREE gears down from any upper gear 5 or 6...
...SECOND gear is USUALLY a low SUPPORTIVE gear in such foot action...
...if you try this NOT from 5 or 6 gear, but from 3 or 4th, then with PSM OFF Cay sharply goes to 1st gear...
...and "shakes" ALL passengers including driver...
