Question CS Truck Base or Car Base?

Is Cayenne a Truck base SUV or a Car base SUV? Any idea? Thanks.

Completely new design.

A truck based SUV or Car based SUV usually means the vehicle is a modified car or truck (X5 on the 5 series platform, or the excursion based on the F350 chasis). Whereas the C is all new. However, that said, the C is much closely related to a car then a truck.

Most cross over vehicles are unibody or monoframe design, meaning more car based, that's the reason for the exceptional handling like the cayenne, rx330 and the new CUV's out there.

Don't forget the independant suspension on the unibodies (unlike rail chassis solid axels). Unibody is stamped sheet metal.
