Heard that a dealer on east coast is selling 20" Continental snow tires 275/40/20. Apparently these are not available in U.S. They got them shipped from Europe.
Any feedback on these tires from Euro owners?

I got mine from Tire Rack. They work pretty good. Sunday we got about 6" -7" in Denver. I had no problems.
Let me know if I can help.

I just picked up the 2004-2005 Porsche approved OE tires booklet from the dealer.
No winter (as defined as having the Snowflake-on-the-Mountain symbol branded on the sidewall) in 20"
Only one in the 19, Pirelli Scorpion Ice&Snow 255/50R-19.
Three in the 18's, Dunlop Grandtrek WT M2 235/60R-18, Pirelli Scorpion Ice&Snow 235/60R-18 and Pirelli Scorpion Ice&Snow 255/55R-18.
The east coast dealer you mentioned is probably getting the tires from Canada; a coworker with an Infiniti FX got his 20" snow tires from Canada last year as they were not yet DOT/US available.
I also recommend 18" tires for winter driving, based solely on aspect ratio. I picked up a set of 4 Cayenne wheels/Dunlops from my dealer last year for $2100 out the door. Free changeovers from between my mounted 20's and 18's.

I live in Slovenia (Europe) and have 20" Continental snow tires 275/40/20 installed on my Cayenne TT.
No real experience till now, just driving on highway at dry or wet roads, still no snow at our part of Europe.
Some people said that these are perfect tire solutions for all winter conditions (dry roads, wet roads and occasionally snow), but other said I could have a problem on snow.
Any real life experience ?
