Hey James1....the grill was my idea!! but found it difficult to execute...check pic#3 in my old post. It may not be difficult to cut the hole..but the lower one would be smaller and hence the OEM grill will not fit in the opening.

James1 and 1988carrera: I saw the earlier post several months ago and considered it. Shouldn't be a huge fiberglass task; but the grill inserts are a problem. I personally like the lower grill look. Too bad Porsche didn'tdo it.

got the call from my German body shop owner and got a quote of $900 to have the lowers paineted and made smooth. Is it worth it on the my beige Cay?? What do you guys think? I have not seen in my color with painted lowers....need your help gents...and ladies of course
