Question Dead pedal

I'm looking to add an OEM look dead pedal to my CS (no heel/toe time with the auto is wearing out the stock plastic )
Most of what I've seen is more VW'ish or massive and not quite stock looking.

Any tips on where to get a good match pedal which also has a decent install? Any ones to avoid? Pics would be great.

thanks

For procrastinators such as myself, Rennline has a 15% off sale on all their products, so you can get the dead pedal for less than the $125 list. I just ordered one.

Got the rennline a couple weeks ago- my son installed it and surprised me. (Says his fingers still hurt from prying up the plastic piece to stick it under, but it looks great. Didn't take that long to install. We recommend it - should have come with it though. Both our Audi TT and my son's GTI came with them!

It took me about an hour as there was lots of stuff to remove, and the process was not that intuitive -- at least for me. Great product.

yeah... was wondering about my fingers as i began to pry (can't & wont use a screwdriver). decided to do this on another day as it seemed a bit more than the pedals for the 993... mostly drill & go.

i am happy though w/ the overall look once it's installed though. & YES! it should have been made a stock item... but i'm sure it's boosts the profit margin just too sexy for porsche to resist.

btw: is it much trouble putting back the plastic side-piece after mounting the pedal?

thx for the help listers

ultimate pedal. Nicer and more options than rennline, imo. Mat anodized silver matchs the silver trim bits perfectly in my CT.

They also will engrave a 3" crest on the dead pedal for a nominal charge. Great people to do business with. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer.

Put ultimate pedals on my Miata race car. The frosted one are more non slip and are a nice product.

Alex, I installed mine about 8 months ago, including the matching emergency pad that goes on VW's. All was well until the pad fell off about a week ago. I used Devcon Weldit as some recommended. Glued it back on last week with same adhesive. The advantage of going with Rennline for the Dead Pedal is that it matches the existing brake and gas pedal. Besides, if I mess up with the dead pedal, no problemo. If something goes wrong with the two other pedals using a replacement product, could cause an accident.

Phil
