Default Porterfield Brake Pads

I just got a call yesterday from Porterfield saying that they now have pads (front and back) for the Cayenne. I have ordered a set and will have them installed next week during my 18k+ service.

Give us a report when they're installed. Who'd you get them from as I'd put them in myself if they really reduce the dust...

The pads shipped out yesterday directly from Porterfield. They are a carbon/kevlar composite and should reduce dust and maintain or improve braking performance. I will post comments on my subjective impression within a week or two of installation. For those who want to contact Porterfield directly/sooner: 800-537-6842.
If they work as well as claimed I will be much happier going to the car wash.

One final claim: No squeak. That I will believe when I don't hear it. I will report the result on that shortly after installation.

Don't get your hopes up on any of Porterfield's claims.

Are you sure this wont rip up your rotors using on the street? Ive heard they are good brand pads for track use but pretty aggressive. Any thoughts?
