KEY FOB RANGE
Wow! Just had my 20,000 mi service and all those damn recalls done!
Dealer exchanged my key fobs for new ones now I can open the doors from 50 feet away!!
All you guys need to change these things out!!

Peter, Did they replace the fobs, or did one of the updates cure this problem? And which one? A way back, my dealer extended the antenna for the locking system, and it helped a bit, but no where near 25 feet. Thanks,

Hello Phil,
On my car, they replace both the key security module inside the car and both key fob too. So, I guess I must now have the latest equipment in my car. What happened was that the dealer was going to give me new keys at first. But, when they went in to reprogram the keys, the security module went dead. Thus..complete new key system now.
