Can someone please describe the 'lag'? Is it the OMG...gotta smash the peddle down next time to speed up efficiently? I found this out the other day when trying to overcome a slow car on merging lanes onto the bay bridge...I finally had to hit the brakes...that part throttle lag?

I think my 06 built Cayenne is safe, since my dealer service adviser told me that all issues have been addressed or covered as of April 09.

How much do you trust your dealer service adviser, that's the question!

Kindda sad I have to deal with this BS game w/ Porsche dealer, I guess your comment is totally valid.

I've heard this a lot, still curious why the dealer service advisers won't disclose everything, not like their salary would be reduced by informing the proper information to the customers.

Well, let me call Porsche NA to see whether my dealer adviser was BSing me or not.

And Porsche NA of course will be very forthcoming in telling you that your dealer was BSing?

Jesus,,, I must have stepped into the wrong door, I have never ever experienced a such mafia corporation like Porsche. Acura/Honda/BMW were all very informative and willing to fix the problems as much as possible, not like seek & hide game.

Hello all - Sooo...since these are recalls, are they fixed free of charge? That would be great!

Thanks,
Mike

Welcome to Rennlist and welcome to the P!g Pen (Cayenne forum).

AFAIK, there has only been one federally mandated recall, that was the A506 (Cowboy Belt Buckle rear passenger belt restraint "fix").
Apart from that, they are Service Actions/TSBs which apply during the warranty period.
