*Edit* Hesitation info inside- Details on new service bulletins

Thanks, Gary, for this useful info. Called my dealer here in Washington, DC, Friday and they had just heard about these. In the past, they've been very good about alerting me to open recalls when the vehicle is in the shop and they're now checking to see which if any of these might apply to mine. Hoping this will finally put the lurching/hesitation issues to bed--it's noticeable, if not especially critical, on my CS despite a past attempt to rectify the problem.

Last week, I took my C-S to the dealer to get new keys programed and to repair a bad brake light switch. It was supposed to take a few hours to do, but it's been about a week now.
What happened? Well, no only did my C-S had 5 recalls open, when they try to reprogram the new keys...the system must have crashed and now my C-S will not recongize any KEYS! The Key/security module is toast so now on is on order for me. I started laughing when the service advisor told me about the key issue and the 5 recalls, so they will have to keep my C-S as the parts should come in soon.
Long story short. Pretty soon I will have a 2005 spec car I tell you (March 03 built). Maybe for all the down time, Porsche can give me a homelink garage opener for free!!

Gotta dig in and see what they did with my keys- none of the descriptions given for the recalls said anything about keys, but since I have gotten it back, I have noticed:
1) Better key range
2) Now beeps once on unlock
3) My key causes two beeps on lock, wife's three beeps
4) No option in settings to disable the beeps
5) Shorter time between locking and then being able to unlick (about 1/2 the time)
1) Better key range

It's wierd...but I just got my Cayenne back, for the second time, with an open recall item......I had no desire to be without it any longer and didn't want to wait for parts.

Menu has changed so I can no longer disable the beep.
Also just used to not beep on unlock, and only beeped once on lock. Now one beep unlock, two beeps on lock.
