Gemballa
Has anyone installed an Aerokit by Gemballa, Techart, or any other Porsche aftermarket tuners? On a related note, anyone order an 05 with a OEM Aerokit? Pictures would be great!
My friend just did his Techart Front spoiler on his Cayenne Turbo. I posted some pics the other day but it wasnt clear, I am busy lately with school, I'll try to take more pics tomorrow or sometime this week

I would never get a replica. The quality of the material is probably soo cheap I wouldnt be suprised it breaks into pieces is someone just hits taps you from behind.
If you test fit and make sure it fits correctly you can make a replica kit just as good quality and in some case better than the original. I have seen Original Lorinser and AC Schnitzer kits that IMO were ok, but excellent and perfect fit, nope. Im Sorry Jamy85 but your statement is truly false if you work with fiberglass or know about molding process and the materials used to make glass parts. What happens is many who copy use the cheapest materials and labor to cut costs on all aspects. Some do not test fit the parts before they mold in order to get the copy out there fast and be first to sell it. Like I said some original parts are a little off and require some work before painting. SO if you mold before test fitting and modifying, then that is why people have problems w/ replica kits.
Some use inferior products and cheap resins, some dont sand the mold, or prep the mold correctly when making multiple parts for sale. So the mold ends up getting more and more distorted. Some companies copy a copy of a copy, and so one. SO it could be a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th generation copy of copy.
Some people do not have the $7K to spend on original kits. If they both fit the same and you have proof of this and one is $1K vs $7K well u can ask yourself that.
If a kit is fiberglass whether original or copy, it will most likely crack or break if you get into a collision, that is common sense. Some OEM parts crack and break during minor 5mph collisions depending on angle of impact, and we could go on all day w/ accident data and debate about that.
