Cool Rejex review....

Just passing along a quick note....

I got my shipment of Rejex a couple weeks ago....and have now applied 3 full coats top and bottom....and wanted to express a few thoughts.....

1. It goes on pretty easily.

2. It come off easily if you do it as you go. Nice to let it dry in a small area and then buff...

3. Very nice shine and very good water repellency

4. Any fantasy one may have had about "brake dust just flying off" you can pretty much forget.... I actually applied 3 coats to every other spoke of my 20" porsche design wheels as a test. It did make a teeny tiny difference....but sadly not enough to toss my wheel cleaning brushes in the trash.

5. Same for any fantasy a wayward moth crashing into the hood at 8-mph and "sliding off without a splat."

It absolutely is a decent wax .....but not nearly a "miracle," at least not from my experience.

Regards

Steve

Agree. You will find that on the wheels over time it builds up and makes the wheels much easier to clean. I now just use my bare hand with water to free it up and then pressure wash.

I have about 6/7 coats on the wheels front and back over the last year. I do find that you must polish it off completely to be most effective.

Steve,

What was your method of application? How long did you leave RejeX on for? RejeX is not going to keep the brake dust from being non existant. It will cut down on the ammount of brake dust. Most importantly it will create a barrier so the brake dust will come off easily at wash time.

I should have a tips page on my site soon.

if you are looking for miracles, you need yo check with the appropriate department.
for brake dust you need to change your pads.
as for shine, repellency and easy cleaning i'm very happy with rejex.

In terms of method of application I washed all areas with HD Cleans precleaner to remove all old wax, did the rejex thing, and buffed it off. I repeated that 3 times....

Brake dust has never been "hard to remove" with a rag and some water...but it certainly doesnt just wash off untouched...

Still not a bad product though

Last I checked there are no low dust pads out for the Cayenne. Do you know of some that I don't?

I agree with Steve on his RejeX comments 100%. Nothing special. If brake dust or dirt on the car is reduced or comes off easier it is 1-2% easier. Not worth the time to apply. It doesn't do anything super crazy for shine. It looks good, but it's no show wax or anything.

Best features might be easy of application and cost compared to others?

jenner,

haven't mastered the Quote feature yet, but
i have to agree, show wax is a whole new subject.
i like it for easy maintenance, i think it is great on the windows
and i haven't done any tests, but when i touch my rims all the brake dust
is on my finger, and i mean barely touch!
i saw at least one post about pagid low dust pads, i think back in july. would like to hear more myself
