Default The Cayenne draws an awful lot of attention...

More than I expected. I get people staring ALL the time...and I've heard many, many positive comments from people telling me how much they "love" it, and how "beautiful" it is in the very short time I've owned it.

It actually draws more attention than my M3...but then, to the non-enthusiast...my M3 looks just like a regular 3-series.

Anyway, I'm pretty surprised as to the response I've received from this vehicle thus far. Is this type of response illicited only in the states, since the good old USA has such a fascination with SUV's? Or do the owners in other countries get the same respnse?

I too get alot of looks and positive comments everyday. It's a beauty and I have the Porsche Design 20" wheels with 4 piece Mud Flaps which gives it an added flare IMHO.

I drive it up to NW WI and I really get even more looks (I've haven't seen one up their yet)!

I'm surprised this thing gets nearly as much attention as the GT3, especially from other SUVs. Actually wished it didn't- lots of the young ricers want to race you. Come on, it's a TRUCK! But I like it the more I drive it...

It definitely draws alot of attention and almoast every time I drive it, either someone says "wow it's a porsche, cool" or asking me what kind of a car it is and complimenting it etc...

The funny thing is that I get alot of attention in my RX-7 and now the porsche, it definitely feels good, lol.

I too am surprised with the number of Thumbs-up I get just driving down the road. I would have never imagined it given that the badge and name aren't really advertised on the Cay.

Default Thankfully I don't think it has anything to do with the badge

I've had a several folks express interest and ask me who made it.

One Suburban driver was partially funny in an Oklahoma gas station. He asked if it was an SUV. I said yes. He then asked who made it. I told him. He responded with 'oh a real _Sport_ Utility Vehicle...can it tow?' His jaw really dropped even when I tossed out 'yep, just shy of 8000 pounds'.

I've had so many people asking me what car this is. I bought it May 2003 and its an 04 model. Back in mid 03, it was very rare and everyone starred at me, I felt bad thats why the windows are tinted!!

people really like the look of this car!!

I was rather surprised. My 3.6T gets all sorts of attention. The other day I was following my wife, she was driving the CT and I was in the 3.6T. Several people tried to cut me off so they could get a better look at the CT. A few weeks before I was driving the CT and a family in a minivan tried keeping up with me. They pulled out a video camera and started recording. Kept giving me the thumbs up. Very strange if you ask me.

1988carerra,

The Bling Bling crowd really loves these things around here. In this case I think it was more what they were smoking. Ironically the Minivan was from CA.

I definitely get a lot of positive comments about my CT. More so then most of the cars I have owned.
