Default Rusty Rotors
I have noticed that my 4 month old cayenne s has rusty rotors-is this normal?

Did you just wash the car? Sometimes when you get the rotor wet they will rust fast. Just drive and brake and the rust should come off

Welcome to German Rotors. My Audi, and both my Porsches do this. I just take them for a little drive after washing to "shine the rotors" back up.

That is correct for the disk part. The paint on the hub will also deteriorate. If it gets bad enough it may be restored for an improved appearance.

Rotors are steel, they rust.

yeah, rotors rust. it only takes a few hours after parking the car, especially if it's wet. it doesn't harm your braking performance at all.
