Default My Cayenne finally arrived!

After over 4 months of waiting, it is finally here. I drove 3 hours from the Bayarea to pick it up at Fresno. It's a 05, so far haven't noticed any problem report like some 04, no vibration at speed near 60-80 mph. Had some problem using the remote key and the rear window, just need to read the manual later. So far, I only get 15 mpg at freeway & 11 mpg for city. Hope this number increase after break-in.

Looks amazing, good luck.

It's funny you mention the gas mileage, I notice that after the brake-in perion my car is now getting much better gas mileage, used to do same as yours 11city-16highw max. MPG and now (over 4.5G miles) i'm getting 16-17 city and 22-26 high.

NYC Cayenne,

Thanks in advance for the mpg information. I was a little worry about the milage because I can't even get 10mpg in the city. Hope the number get better when the engine smooth out. I notice that you also have a RX-7. How long have you have it?

Last Friday I picked up my 05 TT and drove 300 freeway miles. I got 18+ MPG and averaged 70 MPH. Quite happy with the new truck!

I was also going crazy in the beggining, this thing sucked gas like no tomorow, than more I passed the brake-in period it was doing much better especialy highway.

The RX-7 is been with me for over 8 years, I did bunch of mods on her, she's my weekend joy ride since I got the Cayenne...

Can the loading ride height be set as the low setting. That would be great if it is possible. Anyone try the chips that lower ride height? Did you have to realign at new lower setting? What happens when you raise to normal ride height?

The lowest setting only stay when its less than 5mph. The highest setting is up to around 20 mph. There is chip upgrade to allow the suspension low at all time. A performance shop in my area quoted me around for $2500. It's an addon from Techart for air suspension. I don't know what else it does beside lower the truck. I will drop by the shop this weekend and find out more information.

Congrats are in order. Welcome to the land of the Peppers : ). Love that yellow car too(great color on both). That module is kinda expensive IMO but the next setting up is not bad. Air suspension is great-best option I believe on the Pepper. Regards. Mike
