Just installed the Sony Ericsson HCB-30 Blue tooth Car kit and XM Commander Sat Radio. Pro Install by local genius with car electronics. Mic is in the ceiling vent, and speaker is concealed below driver side dash. Cool links to my Motorola 710 blue tooth phone without the factory kit. Voice dial is the best... Just say the number and you are connected. Auto Mute function works with magic-box-gizmo-thingy... installed by forementioned genius. XM Antenna is on roof just to the rear of the right rail. That's very similar to my installation....except I went with Sirius rather than XM.....and I have a Motorola V600 rather than a 710.
But what's this about 'voice dial....just say the number'? I thought you had to program in a name, which you then say; didn't know it could dial a number you speak if not previously programmed in.

rbaron: To use the phone to dial a number on a spoken command, I push the lower button on the right side of the 710 to activate the voice command menu. Then speak: "DIGIT DIAL" then it asks you to say the numbers you wish to dial, and repaeats them back to you for confirmation before dialing. There is a training/memory process to acclamate the phone to your voice that take a minute or two in the menus section { settings;personalize;voice dial set-up etc;
Good luck, when it works it's very functional.

I didn't use it because it (the one in my local at&t wireless store) plugs into the cigarette lighter and must be unplugged when you exit the car, since the cigarette lighter socket is always on and thus the battery could be drained.

Why not put the antenna into the rear spoiler, with all the other antennas?

For the Sirius (and I believe also for the XM) it is FM modulation only; I understand you cannot tap a direct interface into the stereo system because it is fiber optic in nature (surely someone else can explain this in more detail or already has; you might do a search on those terms).

Wingless:
I had the magnetic Kenwood Sirius antenna placed on the roof because I don't find it aesthetically objectionable and it was considered too much of an extra hassle to take the spoiler apart for installation and then again later for removal (plus, I've already had one antenna go bad and have to be replaced; I'm told this is infrequent but not rare).
