Default Installed New Rennline Dead Pedal!

Hi All, I just had this new dead pedal (aka, foot rest) made by Rennline (no affiliation, just a satisfied customer) installed by my Porsche tech. yesterday. It's Awesome!

I also installed Spockat's E-Brake pedal and now the CS pedals match perfectly and look complete (the way they should have come from the factory IMHO)!

I'll post some pics later.

If you like the factory 'faux' pedals, (which are only covers) then Rennline is the way to go for your dead pedal. However, if you want the real deal, (billet aluminum) then check out http://www.ultimatepedals.com/ Of course you would have to do all your pedals however IMPO there is no comparison.

Can't say I care for the Ultimate Pedals very much for an SUV. Perhaps in a 911 they would look OK.

This is what my deadpedal looks like in a Cayenne.

Here is the deadpedal and emergency brake pad in a Touareg.

Spockcat, your dead pedal does not match Cayenne's other pedals - yours has 2 rows of rubber strips vs one row of Cayenne. The rennline matches better though it costs more! Getting from rennline.

I agree with PCH. I also had Rennline delete its Logo from their new pedal and it really looks OEM. Pics to come guys!

Personally, I like Gert's pedals:

Those can be replaced so they do match. These guys sell the matching accelerator and brake pedal set for under $80.

ljugete, how did you manage to get the Rennline deadpedal without their logo?
I´d be interested if I could get a "debadged" one too.

alex,
There are others that sell these matching sets if they are out of stock. They are just standard V8/V10 Touareg pedal covers. In my opinion, I think they look better than what Porsche chose for the Cayenne. Part numbers should be: 7L6 721 647 A and 3D1 723 173 A 4P7.

drmrfi,

I just called Rennline and spoke with the owner her told me it was OK. Just call them with your order and tell them you want your dead pedal without a logo. The said it takes a few extra days for them to make it this way for you (no extra charge). Look OEM IMHO!

P.S.: My camera is down and I will get you those pics ASAP!
