My dealer advised me that my 2005 TT is in port and they confirmed by speaking to people at the distribution center.

However, all '05s are being held-up due to '04 inventory. Apparently "The Powers That Be" at Porsche who could release a car that is spoken for have been in Portugal this week for a 997 launch.

Just a data point for any one waiting for an '05.

i believe the 05 CS i ordered is also sitting at the port/distribution center....where exactly is the port/distribution center?

do we have any new knowledge about when porsche is going to officially announce the MY05 cayennes already?

The west coast distribution center is near Los Angeles. Don't know when '05s are being released.

I stopped into my dealer today. According to their most recent printout, my 2005 "S" (ordered mid-April) is in the Distribution Center, but Porsche isn't releasing any 2005's at present. My dealer states they have no information as to when the 2005 release will be. So -- apparently everyone is getting the same story.

I was just told that the '05's will be released in 3 weeks.

FWIW, I see that the dealer inventories on porsche.com now list the 2005 models which are inbound.
