Default ABS and PSM warnings at specific speed

Recently acquired a 2009 GTS from a friend.

When you hit a certain speed, within 2-3 mph, the car will throw up an ABS failure warning and sometimes a PSM warning. Usually these will go out after about 2 mins max. Sometimes you need to turn the engine off and on again to extinguish them

I'm surmising that it's a dirty sensor or similar as it was sitting on my mate's driveway for about 6 months before he managed to fill me with enough vino to agree to buy it so has maybe caught a lot of corrosion from the discs or something?

I've seen threads on here and other places talking about the same issue but none really give a definitive answer. Can anyone throw any light on it?

In any event, it's booked into a local Porsche specialist the week after next and I'm sure it'll be an easy fix. Would be nice to sort it before hand as I need to do a few hundred mile business trip in it in a few days and it's a tad annoying.
