Just had to run to the hardware store and get some wire strippers and butt-connectors. I did get lucky that the car happened to die/ not restart right next to my apartment in Europe. I was able to fix it right there on the curb. If I was back home in California in my garage full of tools and supplies it would have cost $0.

still don't have a diag mechanic was sick with the pesky Covid if lingers i'll ship it to another Indy this weekend. thanks for the input folks

Weird weird weird! the Cayenne sat since i first posted the problem on 07/11/24 (locked ignition) wasn't touched by anyone. So yesterday i instructed the shop to put her on a charger so that i can flatbed her to another shop that has an available tech. For some reason this morning the car started without any hiccups and i drove her 25 miles to the other shop. what's going on?

and yes we found the trash can hidden at a loonietoon neighbor's yard! that was after the township sent me a brand new one!,lol
