Experienced with big tires rubbing? 09' CTTS
Hi all,
Juat had my new wheels and tires installed and well there is a bit of rubbing when the wheels are turned half way. There is a slatted bent area in the well liner that I am wondering if I could trim it back or if there are any known practices for this issue? I will be removing the front fascia soon to replace turn signals and other bits. I would lile to put together a gameplan before I jump in! Also I am hoping for a viable fix as I love the stance!!
TIA!

What size tires are you running? On my 22x12 et 25 wheels, my 315/30 tires would lightly rub the plastic fender liner when at full lock it close to it.
With my current 22x12 et22 and 335/25 tires, the overall diameter is just a bit smaller and they don't touch.
There's not much space between the plastic the tire touches and the intercoolers to make modifications. You could cut away the plastic in that area, but not sure I would.

Yea, I am seeing that. I have the bumper off looking at things and making a couple changes. Will post how it goes.
