Default Tailpipe pointing downward

I backed into something and now my passenger-side tailpipe won't stay "up". I can push on the driver-side tailpipe and it stays put.

Is there a hanger or tabs or something that holds the tailpipe up? Maybe it broke off?

Loosen the clamp, rotate the tip to where you want it and make sure it's all the way on the muffler joint, then tighten the clamp.

Do you mean there is nothing holding the tailpipe on except friction from the clamp? I thought there might be some tab or "pin" that guided the tip on?

That clamp has a crack in it.
The same thing happened to me on my left side and I don't think we backed into anything.
I can see a crack beginning on my right side too. I bought two clamps but haven't done the job yet (mine is only sagging slightly and is locked completely).
I'll look for the part number.

Correct. As another poster noted, you need new clamps.

Guess those clamps are very strong to hold that much mass! New clamps worked. I replaced both sides. Thanks for everyone's help.
