Default 2008 porche cayenne s HELP

Hello new here, Recently bought a 08 porche cayenne s from copart. I'm trying to figure out if my pinon rack or power steering is out. The car was in a minor accident I think it hit a curb, had to adjust my tow about 1/2 to get it straight, a chunk of the wheel lip fell off but still holds air. Only has 117k miles runs and drives great, just no power steering

Is there fluid in the PS reservoir? There's also a fuse for the servotronic electric assist that some members remove in order to improve the steering feel. Maybe the PO did that or that fuse is blown.

There is some type of electric feature related to steering in the 957 Cayennes that have hydraulic steering I'll have to look up the threads to see what it's actually called and which fuse # it is

I checked all my fuses and all my relays, there's small metal shavings in the reservoir. At idle fluid does not move in the reservoir but when rpms increase slightly the fluid moves but seems weak to me

Has the suspension and steering been inspected for damage yet?
