Default Undoing Caliper bolts

2006 Cayenne base model, manual transmission, 450+ km

Replacing rear rotors and can't get the caliper bolts undone. I'll go buy a breaker bar with a swivel head, but is there any other method to crack these bolts and not damage the triple square heads?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Trevor

I ground the head off the bolt and installed new bolts. The bolts are cheap and available from any VW dealer.

Breaker bar, pneumatic impact gun, and/or inductive heater

Unless I'm missing something here, you're now left with the equivalent of snapping the head off a seized bolt and the nightmare of trying to remove it. After removing the pads, is there enough play in caliper to slide if off of what's left of the bolt?

There wasn't room for my impact, but a breaker bar and small cheater pipe got mine out no problem.

I broke the first bolt and stripped the head of the second. These bolts had never been off, 16 years on a New England car.
One I had the caliper off the car it was easy to get the stub bolt remnants out. Penetrating oil, gentle heating with a propane torch, and a pipe wrench got them out.
Every suspension bolt on this car was seized up, I had to cut the front LCA eccentric bolts with a sawzall.
