Engine Stall - no crank

Engine Stall - no crank
Good morning all. I have a 2004 Cayenne S as a daily that has been a wonderful vehicle for us. (pictured below) The vehicle has 174,xx miles and is serviced regularly. The alternator was replaced about 6 months ago and there's been no issues. The other night, it did something strange - while at a red-light, the engine just quit. No sputtering or anything...just stopped as if I had turned it off. (Battery level was normal so not the alternator.) At that point, it was a no crank (thus no start.) All the electrics came on as normal...just no crank when I turned the key. Eventually, after about 5 minutes, it cranked like normal and I drove home. Now...it was about 2 degrees at that point so I chalked it up to some strange, cold weather related issue. (RARE temp for TN!) The next day, it cranked without issue and drove normally on a grocery run. When I got back to the car to leave, same no crank scenario. Electrics all came on...just no crank. As before, I waited about 5-7 minuted and tried again. Started and I drove home. Before I start digging, has anyone else experienced this and, if so, what was your issue?
Thanks!
