Hi All,

I have been searching for crossbar roof racks for my 09 GTS. So far I have determined there are 2 ways to do a crossbar..

Either purchasing both the roof rails and crossbar attachment:

Or finding the OEM roof rack that slides into the roof track like this:



I've also found that I can purchase this platform roof rack that will slide directly into the track:

I would prefer to not purchase the rails and crossbar. I am ideally trying to find the OEM rack, and I would either add the basket or cargo to the rack like this:






Does anyone have any suggestions for what kind of roof rack will work like the OEM ones, or where to find the OEM ones?

I got the OEM crossbars from Sunset Porsche or Suncoast Parts back in 2016 when I bought my car. You might alos want to join and make a post in the Facebook Cayenne group to see if anyone has a pair they want to sell. I've seen them change hands a few times. Maybe check eBay too.

Depending on what…besides the basket you want to attach, the profile of the OEM rails could limit other things. A more universal, Thule, or Yakima roof rack gives you a greater array of roof mounted items…bike, kayak, etc.

I have a Thule footpak and fit kit set up For Sale, that I used on my 09 GTS. This is for the original square Thule bars, and does not include the square rails themselves. Those bars are available in many places, most would ship them for free…so doesn’t make much sense for me to include my spare bars. All original boxes, and packaging included. Asking $200 shipped in the lower 48.
