I just got my TT and I want all doors to unlock whenever I use either the entry and drive feature or just hit the unlock button, but only the driver door unlocks unless I hit the drivers side unlock button twice. I have tried to program the main computer but obvioulsly I am screwing up.

How do you program the main computer... I tried everything but im still stuck getting the setting to make all doors unlock

Once you go into the computer and choose the correct option you must then turn the car off go outside and lock the car using the remote key, not the button on the handle. This will then teach it to work with that specific key.

do you leave the plastic key in the ignition while you are programming and when you go out and lock the doors?

I don't get it either, the first couple of days only the drivers door would open even if press the key buton twice, no matter what I did, few days after it just started working fine, press once for drivers door, press twice for all doors.

thank you, I'm gonna try the plastic key tech. for seat and mirror settings, I got that problem to.

I had the same problem with one of my keys and thought it was the key. Even took it to my dealer and they gave the usual excuse: "no problem found." Not until today did I finally figure it out. Simply lock the car with the remote and not the entry and drive. I don't know what I would do without this forum....
