Default Anyone painted the front grill?

Has anyone painted the front grill to match the color of the car like the picture below?
Do you think it is a good idea to paint my black front grill to white or to the aluminium trim color?

Here is how my car will look like after I paint the lower body to match the color of the car

While I like the looks of it, I think painting the lower body will make it much more difficult to keep looking clean and nice.

I'll be more than happy to do a photoshop for you. Email me a good pic and tell me what you'd like to see.

I have a white CS en route. First step will be painting lowers white; followed by tint, silver crests (no-spin center caps, hood, steering wheel), 22" Techart (with Diamaris), exhaust tips, BMC filters, skid plate. Don't know (yet) about the grill. White lowers will be no more difficult to clean than any other valence.

Kevin: thats exactly it, since your car is black color so you don't need to paint the front grill

sasilverbullet: I am sorry but I don't have better pictures, can you please help me to paint the white Cayenne S on the first post? and possibly can you help me with the aluminium color grill too? Thanks, appreciate it

Kevin

it is indeed confirmed you have set the benchmark for cayenne customization.

I would encourage you to paint the grills white to match your body color (you can always change it back). I have a white Cup car and the mesh grill covers got painted white by the bodyshop unintentionally. Most people can't tell why they like the look better, but like it they do!

guys should I get a turbo front bumper? I was reading a post in rennteam and saw a picture of S with turbo bumper and I was like "WOW". But I don't want people to say, wow a turbo wannabe and stuff like that. I have to make up my mind soon because my new front S bumper will be painted tomorrow in the bodyshop

Before I took delivery of my S last September I had the body colour coded as the lower body in black makes the car look as if it is sitting too high. Latest European spec cars are now delivered with colour coding as standard!
Other mods: Lowered springs, rear turbo valance and twin tailpipes, cat by-pass pipes, tinted glass all round and blacked B pillars. To my mind the other 'weak' area of the design is the S front bumper so last week I had mine modifed. The horizontal bars from the side air intakes were cut out and the black horizontal slats removed before replacing all with black mesh. Finally to set it aside from other S's - a 4S badged tailgate. Now I'm happy with its looks although I think the rear glass height is disproportionate to the height of the tailgate and have been toying with various possibilities here, ie: (1) blacking out the small removable panel immediately below glass (too much I think) and (2) blacking out just the small insert at the top of this panel immediately below the glass. I think this does it for me so I'm ordering a replacement strip to be painted and fitted. I'll try and attach a couple of pics but they were taken when the car was in the body shop so highlight bumper and 4S mods only. If anyone is intersted I'll try and post better pics showing whole car.

Hey Deetz -- how much is the Turbo bumper going to cost you? If it doesn't break the bank, then I say go for it!
