yes-you need a small antenna. you need to spend 3-500 dollars to install an xm reciever, which will work off your fm tuner, as you have the most fiberoptic system. it is about $9/month. xm and sirius are similar-xm is slightly less per month and has significantly more subscribers-both are great products giving a hundred or so great channels.

It may be possible to hide the XM antenna in the spoiler, with many of the other antennas. The small size of the Terk XMicro antenna looks like it would fit, http://www.xmradio.com/catalog/print...p?type=Antenna .

I have XM. The antenna is on the dash at the base of the windshield. It is about 1 inch square and 3/8 inch tall. It is black and you hardly notice it. I have a Delphi head installed in the sunvisor thing overhead. When I want to listen to XM, I just open the door and the controlls are right obove the mirror. It works great.

It would not be possible for me to express this sentiment better than DEETZ22.

LOL

here is the last update: as wingless said that there is a way to hide the antenna, I gave the shop a call and he is trying to find out a way to hide the antenna inside the rear wing

Delphi antenna, as you can see it is not noticable. It needs a clear line of sight to the sky. If it was behind solid surface, it would not work. Even putting metallic tint, no matter how light, it will not work. The newest antennas are even smaller

I went to the shop and they told me that they can hide the antenna inside the rear spoiler.

loliver: thanks so much for the picture, you have a good point there, either I will put it there or replace my ashtray, what do you think is better?

I don't know if you can read the LCD screen if mounted in the ashtry. It is worth trying though. The sunglass mount is like looking at the mirror and you are looking straight on at the LCD so it is very sharp
