Sirius antenna works fine in the spoiler, I moved mine there a few weeks ago, with no decrease in reception. I definetly hated seeing that ugly thing on my roof, so I finally just took off the spoiler to find out whats inside, and to see if it fitted, which it did.

bjwebster: you put it inside by taking off the light right?

I am getting Sirius, I just found out that Sirius is better than XM. Sirius has 3 satellites while XM has only two.

Is it possible just for me to get the FM modulator or do I need another extra unit? What type of setup do you have?

Sorry for my extremely slow response, had alot going on....

I put in the antenna by removing the rear spoiler, and putting it underneath it. I have a Kenwood unit with a FM modulator. All u need is the fm modulator, and the 2 adaptors required to make the modulator fit the porsches antenna connections.

Since you are using the FM modulator, how is the sound quality as compared to when you play CD's?

Sound quality is great, but the volume is a bit lower than FM/CD, that is my only complaint.

If you have a Roady, there is a volume output setting and you can turn the volume up. I think it is under the Menu. I did this on mine and it is now even with my FM/CD.
