957 Turbo S for auction near me
Damn, this one is really tempting me.
A little more power and torque than my E81 955 and a bit newer.
BUT! It has PDCC which I would like and MAYBE even rear locking diff. Those look like the advanced off road package sill protectors. Does this mean it will have the locking rear diff as well?
Higher mileage that I would like at ~120k miles and I'm not a huge fan of the 2 tone leather. Generally not as clean as my 955.
I've missed inspection window so no opportunity to listen for bore scoring.
If it doesn't go too much over $10k I'll find it hard to control myself.

So, the million dollar question: Will it have the locking rear diff???

Thanks. I tried a few free vin lookups but hadn't considered a paid one. I might wait til the business end of the auction and if it's still in my price range I'll do the paid vin lookup before bidding.
I have too many cars already so I'll only buy this one if I can get a real good deal. Plan would be to keep the 955 as a daily for the girlfriend. Gas prices be damned.

Aero kit runners. This alone makes me think no off-road tech package. The Pepper you’re looking at doesn’t have the articulation button where the Sport button is on the center console. If the options don’t include PT3 or PT2, then I don’t believe you have the desired diffs. I tend to think you just have a Turbo S for a very decent price there. In the US that vehicle would retail for $18k plus.

those aren't steps, those are plastic side skirts that were optional as an aero package on all Cayenne's. It's highly unlikely this has a locking rear diff as that would come with either the metal side steps are skid rails in place of the plastic side skirts.

Awesome, thanks guys. You might have just saved me a bundle of money. Haha
Ill keep an eye on it regardless but I expect the price to shoot up in the last hour. If it stays cheap I'll throw a bid on just for fun but with no locking diff I won't go very high.

"Auction cancelled" 2 hours before finish time Never seen that before. Last I checked it had ticked over $15k which is about where I would have stopped bidding anyway.
Looks like the GF gets to keep driving her Rav4 a bit longer!
