Default rear lights

Has anyone seen a red strip that connects the rear lights across only the strip where the model designation is? I think it would spice up the back. Sort of like the new 996's with the retro strip connecting the taillights. And I'm not talking about that little gemballa strip.

What a coincidence! I was just telling my wife last night that it would have been more distinctive if the tail lights are similar to some of the Porsches , going across all the way rather than the bland look it has now - almost like a Honda Pilot or Kia.

I'm going to see if I can get a mock one made just to show everyone how it would look. Then maybe someone with some expertise could make a more permanent one. I agree that the back of the cayenne just doesnt put you in mind of a porsche, very bland. I'll keep you posted on my progress. It will probably be 2 to 3 weeks.

Anyone with photoshop just place a red strip across the entire panel where the model designation is. Should be less than a ten minute job. Oh for my sake try it on titanium if you have a pic. Thanks. This should save me from wasting my time if its ugly.

Your request is my command...
Quick job made more difficult by the reflections in the showroom but it does give us the idea.

I understand Gemballa is already doing these red strip lights...look at this picture from them.
