Default Rattle noise from rear window

Rear window's rattle noise is driving me crazy these days. Anyone has the same problem? Or anyone had the problem fixed.

Mav,

Are you sure it's the rear window and not the cargo area cover?
The cover of my car did rattle until I jammed a small cloth on one side of cover cartridge.

This is quite common, the rear latch needs to be slightly adjusted, about a 10 minute job by the dealer.

10 minutes for the dealer to adjust but you have to get an appointment, drive there, wait, drive home, etc. Its a 5 minute job for you to do at home. Pop off the plastic trim around the male latch piece on the glass. The latch piece screws in to the latch base and is secured by a nut. Loosen the nut and then turn the male latch piece one full turn in (to make is shorter). That will cause the window glass to shut more snugly when closed. If that doesn't do it, then try another turn or 1/2 turn until you get it snug. Don't over do it or the glass won't latch when shut. Once you've got it where its good then tighten down the nut to lock it and pop the plastic trim back on and you're all set. Leterally should take 5 minutes.

Good luck,
Paul
