A friend took these shots at Death Valley last weekend. They are not
great shots but they are real. There's no image doctoring here and this is the 1st time they've been shown publically.

Note the headlights. They don't seem so round....like the 993 but not quite.
IMHO I like them. It gives the new 911 an image of its own. Takes away the "trying to be a 993" look.

Note also the lights on the boxter (3rd car from left). Those lights look like pre face lift to me. Looks like the original boxter/996 lights.

I dont think thats final...the headlights still have the outline of the 996 lights.

If you look closely, the outline looks like vinyl tape job to disguise the actual oval of the lights.
