I got these two codes and couldn't pass smog. The codes mean a lean mixture on idle so basically it means (among other things) unmetered air entering somewhere. Plus the vehicle had a bit of RPM fluctuation while idling. Around 100RPM up and down. My 2006 Cayenne has still decent mileage, 90K, but knowing how much Porsche loves crappy plastic instead of rubber (V8 owners know what I'm talking about) I've decided to inspect all the vacuum tubes. Visual inspection revealed nothing, shiny tubes, but checking them with my fingernails revealed cracks on the underside of them. When I put a bit of saliva on my finger and touched those areas, I heard and felt sucking. I ordered a new set of tubes and paid $90 only because I've had the car for a few days. Next time I'm going to spend $10 and buy braided rubber hose. While waiting for the tubes to arrive, electrical tape comes to the rescue.
And the tubes failed from the underside due to excessive radiant heat from the exhaust manifold.
