As an owner of a Cayenne S with PCM, the footnote sure sounds like this kit will not work. But I guess it depends on what the word "all" means.
Either it will not work on ANY vehicle with PCM
OR
Not ALL PCM units are supported, but some may be.

Thanks very much for scanning this.
As a lawyer reading something probably written by engineers, then re-written by PR folk and then reviewed by a lawyer I've got to grin; it appears the text giveth and the footnote taketh away.....but not necessarily; as pointed out, it depends on what "all" means.

Conjecture:
All Cayennes use MOST - PCM or not.
This mounting system is compatible with digital systems (MOST), but the footnote says it is not compatible with PCM systems in ALL Cayennes, 911, and Boxsters.
All Cayennes have PCMII. Therefore, it would either work with ALL Cayenne PCM systems or NO Cayenne PCM systems.
Therefore, my interpretation is that it will not work with ANY PCM system.
This is one time I hope to be wrong.
And this interpretation comes from a marketing guy who is used to the nuances of marketing collateral.

I have been trying to dechipher it with my skills used working as a "Beltway Bandit" in our wonderful DC area, and I too think this is not going to work with our "Peppers", but I too hope I am wrong

We discussed handsfree phone solutions in this older thread.

The Becker phone mute wire does not work with PCM. I'm not sure what Porsche system uses, but most likely the audio has to go through one of the becker wires.
