Default Air suspension level sensor calibration / problem

Hi I’ve been having some issues with the height of my front left wheel so I bought a launch x431 and tried to set the levels myself but now have an issue where the back is sitting much higher than the front and won’t recalibrate

has anybody had this problem? I’ve tried all sorts of combinations of level heights but it no longer accepts any of my commands. It starts the recalibration by lowering and then raising the height but after it goes back to the normal setting the tool just says (abort , test step condition not met)

Just to add to my problems when I drive the car now I get a 1780 fault code and it kicks me out of sport mode which didn’t happen before. I can see this code is for a level sensor but can’t figure out which one? Or is this error just caused by the rear end being higher than the front ??

before I take an expensive trip to Porsche I was hoping somebody on here has the knowledge to get me out of this predicament!

the car is an 08 cayenne GTS

thanks in advance 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Here is a how to guide using Durametric to adjust the level system. Maybe there's process info in here that will help with the tool you're using.

thanks I changed the control unit today with a second hand one from eBay and the car has corrected itself now without any need for calibration 👍🏼

This pdf instruction are awesome. Thank you for sharing. I want to ask you if you happen to have instructions for sensor calibration. My front passenger level sensor arm broke shortly after I had it lifted with EW air lift kit. I've just learned that sensor calibration is needed for newly installed sensors before they work. After reading the pdf, I'm wondering if calibration and "lowering" or "lifting" are one and the same and can be done by following the same instructions in adaptation menu. Thanks for your time.

Sorry, I don't know. I've never used those instructions but had downloaded them in case I wanted to lower mine before purchasing. With the widebody kit I put on, it looks low enough to didn't mess with it. I have not had to recalibrate a sensor either as I only have 50k miles on mine.
