Default 2009 seat in a 2005?

My driver seat is torn and in bad shape so I have been looking on eBay for a seat. Most of the 2004-2007 are pretty beat up but I think they would be compatible. However, I noticed a nice 2009 on eBay (images below). My questions are:

1. Will a 2009 work in a 2005? In a worst case (assuming the options for memory/heating are not compatible), could I remove the leather skins and put them on my 2005 seat?
2. Was there a color change for the "tan" in later years? Color is pretty hard to gage in photos since it is so light dependent. I am pretty sure these are the same, but its hard to say for sure. I attached some pictures. The eBay listing does look a bit lighter than other listings for seats in the 2004-2006 range so it had me wondering.

I believe they will fit, yes. Look up parts diagrams for the different years and see if the part numbers match.

I believe the color of the 2005 is Havana and the 2009 is Sand beige. Not the same color.

Yea, those are definitely not the same color. The 957 seats have the same back falling off issue as the 955s and look the same, so probably fit just fine.

Not sure what they get for a used seat, but a decent upholstery shop should be able to renew or repair the damage, clean the leather, replace degraded foam and you will know the seat will fit and will last for 15 more years at least.
