I just got the 05 Cayenne order guide from my dealer. No pricing yet..but here are the upgrades:

DVD based navigation system.
Satellite radio option (XM or Sirius)
Carbon fiber trim option
Interior paint trim option
New "standard equipment" includes:Power tail gate latch, collapisble spare tire, integrated garage door opener.

Nice changes IMO. Allocations should be available in June or July...

any mension if there will be a bluetooth handsfree kit or something like that? Also, with the dvd based navigation system, can you play dvd audio and dvd videos on the screen?

The nav system is listed as being DVD based. No mention of bluetooth or ability to play DVD or MP3 audio discs.....

On the Roadfly board they are also reporting that PASM will be standard for the Cayenne S MY 2005.

Not according to the order guides. No styling changes either.

And the Carbon Fiber and Painted interior trim options were available in 04 as well. ")

Other new options include:
-Cayenne Aerokit
-Black exterior trim
-Ski Bag now a no-charge option

Does anyone know if the new unit will look different than the current CD based unit?

I spoke with my dealer today, and don't know if I should back out on my currently on order Cayenne S and order a 2005 model which I would not get till July/August vice April...

Any suggestions anyone?

I do not know for sure, but I would guess the nav unit will be very similar to the current, except that it is DVD based. Also, on the 05 you will have the option of integrated satellite radio. For me personally, Im going to wait for the 05s...just my $0.02..good luck...
