Apologies Glaze. I didn't state it correctly, but I do like the period correct wheels for the body style. That's why E34 wheels don't look good on an E39 to me. In your case, any wheels from the 955 and updated 957 would work. I happen to like the GTS wheels the best, but since the 957 is basically a slight refresh, the all would look good. You can't really go wrong and it's great that you're so stoked on the car. I have had a few Porsches but ventured to BMW then to AMG and now that I'm back to P-cars, I can't see going away from them again. There's just something about them...

Cheers!

I agree, had a C63 Estate and many other performance cars, but I miss my old 955 Turbo. The thing was so solid and just brought a smile to my face every time I drove it. The P cars are truly something special!

Nice find.

Those 1st pic GTS wheels are my favorite on a Cayenne. It was one of the reasons I bought the 957 CTTS that I ended up with. I had planned to continue running them after the widebody conversion, but the body completely dwarfed the wheels when everything was done and the flares allowed me to go to a 12" wide wheel so I inevitably ended up selling those going with a 22"x12" setup, and I think those original wheels are now in Alaska.

On a 955, the other wheel that I thought looked appropriate on a 955 was that turbo twist style in the 2nd picture. The more "period correct" wheels from the third photo I think will look out of place on a 955 body style Cayenne and maybe a bit odd.

I am looking to take ownership of the car in the next 2-3 days and will take it in for wheels and tyres straight away. I also have it booked in to get new Coils and Plugs fitted, general Oil service and a Transmission service to ensure its starts Life Off with me on the right foot.

Below are the 21" Wheels I have chosen, not genuine Porsche Wheels but I will keep the Original wheels in the collection and look to get them refurbed at some stage.
