Can someone tell me where can I order the adapter to the 7 pin layout of the tow hitch? Hopefully I can order it online versus driving miles and miles to get a itsy bitsy winny adapter : ). Regards and TIA. Mike

If you're talking about the adapter from Porsche to American-standard 7-pin and that includes the spring-loaded cover, your dealer is supposed to supply and install it when it delivers the C to you.

My dealer forgot to install it at PDI; they removed the blank plate and installed the 7pin in about 5 minutes when the car was in for new Cardan shaft.

When I took delivery of my TT there was a cover in the rear of the vehicle, next to the hitch, where the electrical connections were supposed to be made. Unfortunately, the electrical connector wasn't installed at the factory, nor by the dealer. So, I went my local Porsche dealer to get the seven pin trailer hitch electrical adapter. When they brought the part in the box, I couldn't believe it...it was a Ford Motor Company part!

I don't have the FoMoCo part number, but there's no doubt but that if you take off the cover and then go to your local Ford dealer, you'll be able to get the connector you're looking for.

The "official" Porsche part is made by Westfalia.

We have been using a piece made by a company called Pollack. It costs about $20 CDN, as opposed to over $50CDN for the Westafalia piece.
