I have a Backyard Buddy 4 post lift, but could see where leaving one of these on the floor in one of the other garage bays could be really handy for working on a second car while a larger project is on the lift or for quick tire or brake work.

Today, that's a set of Jackpoint Jackstands or some Rhino Ramps, depending on what work is being done.

Damn I'd give my left nut for a garage like that.

Thank you. It all gets used too. It's designed with two double door sides. The right side is 10' longer so it can hold the boat and trailer. I have one more bay in a lower garage that usually keeps the 914 but any of the cars actually fit in it (928 is there right now). It's a little more crowded than this now with an engine on a stand, a heated, ultrasonic parts washer, an engine hoist, transmission jack, etc so I've actually bought the property next door with plans to put a 6-car garage over there and will move the lift to that shop and just park the regular use cars in the garage attached to the house.. The boat bay in the new garage will have roll up doors on both sides so be a straight pull-through, stop, unhook the trailer, then drive the truck out forward, and the bay with the lift will be empty all the time instead of the lift being used for storage, so won't have to play musical cars to free up the lift to work on something. But, first I need to get the kids through College before I can look at constructing that project - in the mean time, my son is enjoying riding his dirt bike on a trail my wife constructed for him on the vacant property.
