I have been messing with cardboard mock-ups trying to get smooth full coverage with strength in the right places, and sufficient airflow too. The oem came with a scoop and reverse NACA to flow air over the oil pan and transmission pan, for example. Probably not because it wasn’t beneficial… 😜

I have this notion that the way manufacturing is heading, there will be more instances of selling a design ready to be cnc cut and fabbed locally….

Sweet rides!
I was asked this prior and outlined the reason why the answer is no in post #94. I do believe Armada would sell the underneath scan for $200.

PS--Agreed on orange wheels!
The diff and ecu were included in the sale of both TransSyberias I owned......I think the owners still have the diff sitting in the box

I was disappointed not to get the new one but there is a chance that you can't change the ring gear between some ratio changes so I chickened out. I think it will be ok but just check. They call it the carrier break. Looking at mine disassembled it looks like you will be fine, the ring gear looks to be really thick to make up for the small pinion gear.

How are you going to control it. There are guys who say they can sell you what's needed to make it plug and play with the factory software. I'm going to drive mine independently so I can engage it at any time, not as nice a solution but can be made on/off or variable.

The advantage to the factory system is that it is continuously variable while driving on or off-road and the Porsche software takes care of adjustments as you go along. The disadvantage is you can't lock it unless you are in low range.

If you would like some information on how to control the diff, I'm happy to trade with you.

We are also working on electric front diff locks.

@Dave Waldo , which Cayenne's come with 4.55 gearing? I thought 4.10 was the lowest (highest numerical) from the TSSY/GTS?

I believe that the 957 Cayenne did not have a 4.55 ratio availble, but its VW counterpart the T-Reg did have that gearing available. If I were to upgrade my diffs, with a locking rear one, this is the route I'd go. Imagine the low end grunt a CTTS would have with 4.55s!

Hmm, which models/years of Treg?
But then you'd need to change gearing in the front as well = more $$.
