Default HID headlight startup leveling

On my CTT, the HID lights, when turned on, start out by dipping and then gradually raising up to predescribed level.
Some time ago, I noticed that the passenger side light does not do that, It just turns on and stays put, while the driver side headlight still goes through its startup routine.
I want to solve this and wanted to see if anyone knows what the problem may be. Thank you for help.

Either there's a problem with the control module, or a problem with the motor that moves the light up and down. Do you get any error codes? Or do you have the capability to scan error codes with a Porsche compatible scan tool?
I actually have a spare motor out of a crashed headlight I purchased for parts, so PM me if you end up needing one. Motor is easily replaceable, surprisingly, as it is screwed in with 2 screws next to the low beam bulb.

I just replaced the ballast controller (the square controller inside headlight), thinking it could be the problem. No change. Headlight has new bulb in it too. No, I have not replaced the motor in it yet (was not aware there was a motor inside the headlight).
The driver side headlight makes noise when I start lights, the passenger side headlight does not, just turns on and stays stationary.
How do I check if it is motor?
I have durametric, I do not recall errors, but will scan again and will let you know. Thank you for help.

The motor and the hole where it goes are circled in red below. Not sure what the best way to test it - either swap left to right, or check with multimeter whether the motor is getting power. Looks like there are 3 wires going to it, I'm guessing brown is ground and 2 blacks are power, either up or down. Voltage is most likely 12v, but could be 5v or 24v, so if you wanted to give it power to test motor directly I'd start at 5v.

My CTT is an HID 2005 - 955. Your headlight looks like for 957 models.

Different indeed. But, that thing in the top middle looks like the motor you need to test, it's just bigger.

I think you can force a headlight calibration by turning on the headlights with the key out of the ignition. Leave the lights on, then insert the key and turn it to the full accessory position and the lights should both do their dance. Maybe for it will unstuck it if it's just electronically stuck.
