Default Owner's Manual

We just purchased a 2004 turbo, it didn't come with an owner's manual is there any way to obtain one? I would really appreciate having one or downloading a copy.
We do have the entire 600 page PET, PCM, Tequipment, and Maintenance guide.

Thanks in advance,
JD

The usual advice is to check eBay Motors for paper. Can’t help with the E version, hopefully someone else will chime in

I'm still hoping to find an e version for my 2004 S. 2 years and counting. Closest I've got is one that says it's for 04/05, but it's not 2004, since the key fob has this amazing technology that was invented after 2004, where they have separate buttons for lock and unlock. BTW, no joke, if you go looking, and something says it's for 2004, go ahead and find what the key looks like to see if it's correct.

I'd be happy to email or PM you this owner's manual. 4.9 MB.

Ebay or Ebay... Then again you could check Ebay.

Like RSrob said, it is hard to beat for the paperwork items like sales brochures and manuals.

They are also commonly available at your dealer. That is where we get them for resale

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!

Thanks for that. Confirmed the 2-button key remote.

Also, for me, I do already have a printed owners manual. But being able to search in a PDF is very useful, as is being able to look something up while at my computer.

BTW, in addition to the paper and PDF, I have the original CD version of the owners manual that came with the car. I expect it was amazing tech back in 2004, but is pretty useless and painful in 2019.

Is it safe to assume that this manual would also apply to the 04 Cayenne twin turbo? I understand that its a different engine but would the bulk of the info be the same?
Thanks for all the advice, I appreciate it.

It does seem to have specs for the Turbo towards the end of the manual there.
To confirm, if you know of a feature that your Turbo has but the S does not, you could search for that feature and base your conclusion on that. Kind of like how I used the 2 vs. 3-button remote to confirm if it was really 2004 or actually 2005+.

Where is there a copy of the PET? getporscheparts has it built into their parts system, which is helpful, but I'd prefer to have a PDF version for offline use and for help with searching and parts context.

For those following along, the PET for any Porsche is available on the PCNA site.

You may have to dig around to find the older ones, but they're all there.

Thanks for all the info. Interestingly enough when I bought this it came with no owners manual, but it did come with a disk version of the PET and a big white binder with a 600 page PET.
