Yeah, as cool as they are, that's still wishful thinking. Work done on a normally aspirated GTS might move the power number from 405 to 450 but on a 5,000 lb vehicle that's still a 11 lbs / HP ratio. A water cooled 911 (997.1 M97 S car with 3.8L motor) puts out 355 HP and weights about 3,300 lbs so 9.3 lbs/HP and a modified 911 like mine or a Turbo is about 500 HP at around the same 3,300 lb weight or 6.6 lbs/HP. You're not blowing away or outhandling a 911 that has double the power to weight ratio you do. They might be wondering why a Cayenne is passing them at 130 MPH, but I assure you, they're not trying to compete and then losing.

Glad you love your GTS though - it's the best sounding of all the Cayennes.

My GTS does not handle the twisties like my 914-6 did, and not as fast as my 935 racer was, but it is fun when someone challenges me out in the country. It’s surely not a rally car either!
