Default Deadpedals

Curt had a post awhile ago about mathcing medal deadpedal. I'd love to get one. The winter slop up here is already taking a toll on the stock setup.

Anyone found one yet?

I remmber hearing something about modifying a unit from Audi TT but was hoping someone would make a matching unit for the cayenne.

I make these for the Touareg. I don't know what the Cayenne's pedals look like though. How does this look:

Looks nice Spockcat.. can't tell if that is more of a polished look or if its the flash... can you take one without the flash to see the difference..

How much for your Dead Pedal?

Dead pedal is not polished. It is typical buffed stainless steel. Here is a photo of it off the car:

And another picture. This is using a different pedal as a base starting point.

What do the Cayenne pedals look like? What does the current foot area look like? Maybe these will work for the Cayenne too.

The pedals on the Taureg appear to be the same as on my TT. Your dead pedal looks just great to me.....they don't have to be an exact match to do the job IMO.

This is how the pedal stuff started. In the meantime, I've found that you don't need/want the pedal as tall as they show in the photo in case the emergency brake cable stretches and the e-brake pedal hits the dead pedal.

My main problem with the stock 'dead pedal' is it is not at the same distance from the seat edge as the throttle and brake pedals. The dead pedal needs to be raised about 3/4 inches, at least. However, it appears this may interfere with the emergency brake???? In any case, how do we purchase one of your metal deadpedals, Spockcat????

Installation is simple. I leave two tabs on the left side of the pedal that slip up under the plastic molding on the side of the firewall. On the bottom of the pedal I leave a metal tab that slips under the carpet or rubber mat. If you want more holding power, then apply some velcro to the bottom of the pedal and plastic portion of the stock carpet.

Anyone knows where to get the polished pedals for a manual Cayenne ? If I´m getting one V6 in March, April, but would like to know where to get ones.. the stock plastic pedals look really cheap for a Porsche..

Default Pedal Sets

These guys sell the V8 pedals for the Touareg and the chrome covered brake pedal for the Phaeton which matches the Touareg set. I assume that the Cayenne uses the same pedal sets as the Touareg. Unfortunately, they don't have photos on their site yet.

Atlastimports.com

EDIT: I notice that at the bottom of the page they also list the C-TT pedals too and they are cheaper than the Touareg pedals. I guess you will have to call or email to find out the difference and which will work for you. Sorry
